# What is High IQ?

High IQ is a cannabis intelligence platform that helps you discover, track, and understand cannabis strains with precision. Built for the modern cannabis consumer, High IQ combines a comprehensive strain database, AI-powered analysis, and personal consumption tracking to give you smarter insights into what you use and why.

## How It Works

    Add strains you are currently using or have purchased. Track quantities, prices, dispensary information, and personal ratings.

    Explore the strain database by effects, terpenes, THC/CBD levels, or High Family. Find strains similar to ones you already love.

  <Step title="Get Intelligent Insights">
    Review the source-backed strain and stash information available in the app. Personalized notebook generation is still being validated before launch; current Report V1 can synthesize defaults and does not yet guarantee absence-preserving output.

## The High Families

One of the core innovations in High IQ is the **High Families** — a classification system that groups strains into 6 families based on their terpene profiles and expected effects, going beyond the outdated "indica vs. sativa" labels:
