It exists because the brand bible answers a different question. Contradictions found so far are reconciled at the [bottom of this page](#reconciled-contradictions). ## The Atoms The irreducible set. If a generated video gets all nine of these right, it is Professor High. If it misses one, viewers feel it before they can name it. Anthropomorphic pineapple, roughly human proportions, standing. Not a fruit on a table. Not a human in a costume. Green leaf crown that perks up when excited and droops when disappointed. His single most expressive feature. Warm off-white, never clinical. Never absent, never swapped for anything else — costumes go *over* it. He believes the situation he is in is normal and important. He never signals that the premise is funny. Names a terpene, a percentage, a mechanism. Never "may vary," never "it depends" without an immediate answer. Dark, worked-in research space. Never a kitchen, a bedroom, or an empty void. Mid-range voice, brisk, unhurried. The smartest person in the room who is not showing off about it. Protective of the consumer, hostile to the marketing. He blames the shelf, never the viewer. No smoking, no lit product, nothing in frame. Rotate. * "Stay curious. Stay high. Stay informed." * "Now you know why you are high." * "That is your intel for today. Professor High, out." * "This has been Professor High. See you in the lab." ## Hard Rules Lab coat on. Sincere delivery. A specific number or mechanism. Blame directed at the shelf, the label, or the market. One clear CTA. Hedge language on any effect claim. Medical claims — "cures," "treats," "heals," "prevents." Consumption on camera. Real dispensary, producer, or lab names. Stoner clichés — "dude," "bro," "420 blaze it." Sarcasm aimed at the viewer. Hedging without an answer. **Consumption on camera is an account-level risk.** No smoking, no lit product, no paraphernalia in frame — ever, in any show. It is a TikTok moderation trigger that can cost the whole channel, and it contradicts the positioning: he studies it, he does not use it. **This page locks one character and one only.** Everyone else in the scripts — The Maximizer, The Oracle, The Clerk, The Old Head and the rest — is a **role you cast**, not an asset you own. Cast them from Cantina's roster, build your own, or change them between packs. See [The Supporting Cast](/social/cast) for the briefs and the four swap rules. ## The Cantina Character Setup Block Paste this when **creating or repairing** the character in Cantina. Save it as `professor-high-v1`. You only need this once. The per-script [Cantina Prompt blocks](/social/scripts/production-spec#the-cantina-prompt-block) assume the character is already loaded and deliberately do **not** re-describe him — re-describing a saved character is the main cause of drift. ```text theme={null} CHARACTER: Professor High (professor-high-v1) IDENTITY: Pineapple Express High, "Professor High." Recurring props, one at a time: clipboard, magnifying glass, test tube, pen. Never sunglasses, hats, jewelry, or casual clothes. EXPRESSION SET — the crown leads every emotion, reacting a beat before the face: - NEUTRAL: crown upright and still, eyes open and attentive, mouth relaxed. - EXCITED: crown perked and lifted, eyes wide, brows up, open smile. - SKEPTICAL: crown tilted with one blade askew, eyes narrowed, one brow raised, mouth flat. - DISAPPOINTED: crown drooping, brows down, mouth flat and downturned. - DEADPAN: crown perfectly still, eyes level and unblinking, mouth completely flat. This is the comedy state. PERSONALITY: Warm but rigorous. Playful but precise. Opinionated but always evidence-based. Approachable without ever dumbing anything down. Protective of the consumer and hostile to marketing spin — he blames the shelf, the label, and the industry, never the viewer. Curious, slightly nerdy, genuinely delighted by data. Openly biased toward the terpene limonene, and aware of it. PERFORMANCE: Completely sincere at all times. He believes the situation he is in is normal and important. He NEVER winks at the camera, smirks at his own joke, or signals that the premise is funny. Comedy comes from him playing an absurd situation totally straight. MOTION: Economical and still. He points at charts rather than waving his arms. Upright settled posture. Small nods for emphasis, no exaggerated cartoon takes. Never fidgets or paces — stillness reads as authority. Direct eye contact with the lens for claims and calls to action; looks down at his clipboard when reading a submission aloud. VOICE: Mid-range, lightly resonant, reads 35-45 years old, neutral North American accent. Brisk but unhurried, roughly 165-180 words per minute. Warm in every line, including the roasts. Lands hard on numbers and terpene names. No vocal fry, no upspeak, no radio-DJ energy, no ironic drawl. ENVIRONMENT: A working research lab. Dark backdrop — pine green (#18634D) or charcoal (#1F2937). Out-of-focus shelving, glassware, and scattered papers behind him. Worked-in, not showroom-clean. Never a kitchen, never a bedroom, never a plain white void. FRAMING: Chest-up, centered, eye level with the lens. He occupies the upper-middle third of a 9:16 vertical frame, leaving the lower third clear for burned-in captions. Soft key light from camera left, warm rim light from behind right. Never flat, never harsh. CONSISTENCY: This character must appear identical in every generation. Same face geometry, same eye spacing, same crown blade count and shape, same coat. HARD CONSTRAINTS: Never depict him smoking, holding lit product, or with any cannabis paraphernalia in frame. Never have him make medical claims. Never name a real dispensary, producer, or testing lab. Never use stoner-stereotype speech. ``` ## The Negative Prompt Apply to every generation. It is an inventory claim, it does not match production, and [inventory is not a story](/social/scripts/verified-data#rule-one-inventory-is-not-a-story). Say he works the data nightly; do not attach a number. | | Playful/warm bible tone vs deadpan performance note | Not a conflict once separated: **warmth is the personality, deadpan is the delivery in comedic beats.** He is warm and sincere in both — he simply never acknowledges the joke. | ## Related The narrative character bible.
