# Seven-Second Cards — Scripts

> Five near-free videos built on the highest share rate in the entire teardown set — 11% on seven seconds and two text cards. Script IDs SEV-001 through SEV-005.

<Note>
  **Arm 1 — Reach.** Optimised purely for **share rate**. Test design: [The 100](/social/scripts/the-100/design). Character: [Character Config](/social/character-config).
</Note>

## Why This Pack Exists

Two specimens in the [teardowns](/social/teardowns#the-top-performers) are the cheapest videos in the entire dataset and two of the most efficient:

| Video                                                                                              | Result                                                                         | Production                       |
| -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------- |
| ["More baked than the potatoes"](https://www.tiktok.com/@starry_cactxss/video/7573134723472510238) | 265.8K views, **29.6K shares — an 11% share rate, the highest in the library** | **7 seconds, two cards** |
| ["Me high asf / my friend unphased"](https://www.tiktok.com/@ohkayebae/video/6876305789129166086)  | **2.5M views**, 33.4K shares                                                   | **15 seconds, three text cards** |

And the finding that explains why they matter:

> **Shares and likes are different products.** Cheap + relational = shares. Dense + quotable = likes. **Pick one and design backwards.**

Every other pack in this slate is designed for watch time or comments. This one is designed for the **send button** and nothing else.

## The One Rule That Inverts

<Warning>
  **This is the only pack where burned-in text is mandatory rather than forbidden.**

  Everywhere else in the library, comedy grammar means no text stickers — [zero of the top animated comedy videos used them](/social/teardowns#animated-comedy--the-grammar). Here the text **is** the video. The animation is a backdrop for a caption.

  Do not "improve" these by removing the cards. Removing the cards removes the format.
</Warning>

## What Makes A Share

A share happens when a video is **about a specific person the viewer knows**. Not relatable in general — relatable to *one named individual* who must now be sent it. Every script in this pack is engineered so that a viewer can identify that person within two seconds.

| Design rule                         | Why                                                                 |
| ----------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Two cards, three maximum** | The share decision is made before the second card resolves |
| **Second person, not first** | "Your friend who…" beats "me when…" for send rate |
| **No data on camera** | A statistic makes it informative. Informative gets saved, not sent |
| **Under 10 seconds where possible** | The share happens on a rewatch, and rewatch requires it to be short |
| **Catchphrase on the last card** | The only branding. It costs one card and it is the funnel |

Professor High — SEVEN-SECOND CARDS — SEV-001
Runtime: 8 seconds | 9:16 vertical
CHARACTERS
- professor-high-v1 — LOCKED. Already loaded with his image, voice and
  personality. Do NOT re-describe him — re-describing a saved character is the
  main cause of drift.
- THE MAXIMIZER — SWAPPABLE. Use the-maximizer-v1 if you have built it, or
  cast ANY Cantina character who reads as: confident, decisive and completely
  wrong — optimising for the biggest number.
- THE ORACLE — SWAPPABLE. Use the-oracle-v1 if you have built it, or cast ANY
  Cantina character who reads as: reclined and generous, explains your own
  experience to you with total confidence.
- Any supporting role may be recast freely between packs, never inside one — a
  recast mid-pack turns a format test into a casting test. Briefs and swap
  rules: /social/cast

TONE: Deadpan meme format. There is almost no performance here — the cards
carry the joke and the characters simply hold a pose.

IMPORTANT — THIS PACK INVERTS THE USUAL TEXT RULE. Burned-in text is REQUIRED
on every beat. The text IS the video. Do not remove the cards.

IMPORTANT — OPENING: Card one is on screen from frame one. No title card, no
logo, no voice, no music for the first three seconds. Silence plus text is the
hook.

IMPORTANT — The two character shots must use IDENTICAL framing, lens and
lighting so the only difference is the person.

ENVIRONMENT: A stylized living room, plain couch, blank wall. No brands or
logos. NOTHING smoked, held or consumed on camera. No product or packaging
visible.

SHOTS + DIALOGUE:
1. (0:00-0:03) Locked wide. THE MAXIMIZER sitting motionless on the couch,
   eyes enormous, staring past camera. NO DIALOGUE, NO MUSIC.
   ON SCREEN: ME, 20 MINUTES IN
2. (0:03-0:06) IDENTICAL framing. THE ORACLE in the same spot, entirely
   unaffected, mid-conversation, gesturing normally. NO DIALOGUE.
   ON SCREEN: MY FRIEND, SAME JAR
3. (0:06-0:08) Cut to Professor High, static chest-up, deadpan. Voice only.
   SAYS (PROF): "This is why I'm high."
   ON SCREEN: THIS IS WHY I'M HIGH

ON-SCREEN TEXT STYLE: Large bold sans-serif, white with heavy stroke, CENTRED
in the upper third (not lower third — these are meme cards, not captions).
Pineapple yellow #D98E04 on the final card. Keep 250px clear at bottom and
120px at top.

AUDIO: Original sound. TOTAL SILENCE for 0:00-0:06 — no music, no room tone.
One soft string chord on the final beat only.

DO NOT: No smoking, no product, no packaging, no paraphernalia. No medical
claims. No data or statistics on camera. No real brand names.

TONE: Deadpan meme format. Frozen physical comedy — he does not move at all
across the two shots. The stillness is the joke.

IMPORTANT — BURNED-IN TEXT IS REQUIRED. The text is the video.

IMPORTANT — OPENING: Card one is on screen from frame one. No voice and no
music for the first six seconds.

IMPORTANT — Both character shots use IDENTICAL framing. He must not move a

to cannabis — ordinary dinner plates only, and no product or packaging
anywhere.

SHOTS + DIALOGUE:

TONE: Deadpan meme format. No performance beyond holding a pose.

IMPORTANT — BURNED-IN TEXT IS REQUIRED on every beat.

IMPORTANT — OPENING: Card one on screen from frame one. No voice, no music for
the first ten seconds.

IMPORTANT — ALL THREE character shots use IDENTICAL framing, lens, lighting

**Cantina Prompt**

```text theme={null}
Professor High — SEVEN-SECOND CARDS — SEV-004
Runtime: 6 seconds | 9:16 vertical
CHARACTERS
- professor-high-v1 — LOCKED. Already loaded with his image, voice and
  personality. Do NOT re-describe him — re-describing a saved character is the
  main cause of drift.
- THE MAXIMIZER — SWAPPABLE. Use the-maximizer-v1 if you have built it, or
  cast ANY Cantina character who reads as: confident, decisive and completely
  wrong — optimising for the biggest number.
- Any supporting role may be recast freely between packs, never inside one — a
  recast mid-pack turns a format test into a casting test. Briefs and swap
  rules: /social/cast
TONE: Deadpan meme format. Physical comedy, no dialogue, no expression change.
IMPORTANT — BURNED-IN TEXT IS REQUIRED.
IMPORTANT — THIS VIDEO MUST LOOP SEAMLESSLY. The final frame and the first
frame must match exactly, so that on repeat he appears to walk back in
immediately. Build the animation as a perfect cycle — the loop is the entire
mechanic.
IMPORTANT — OPENING: He is ALREADY walking in on frame one. No title card, no
logo, no voice or music until the final beat.
ENVIRONMENT: A stylized plain kitchen, blank cabinets, daylight. No brands or
logos. NOTHING smoked, held or consumed on camera. No product or packaging
visible.
SHOTS + DIALOGUE:
1. (0:00-0:03) Locked wide. THE MAXIMIZER walks into frame, stops dead in the
   middle of the kitchen, and looks slowly around. NO DIALOGUE.
   ON SCREEN: WHEN YOU GO TO THE KITCHEN
2. (0:03-0:05) IDENTICAL framing. He turns and walks straight back out the way
   he came. NO DIALOGUE.
   ON SCREEN: AND FORGET WHY
3. (0:05-0:06) Cut to Professor High, static chest-up, deadpan. Voice only.
   SAYS (PROF): "This is why I'm high."
   ON SCREEN: THIS IS WHY I'M HIGH
ON-SCREEN TEXT STYLE: Large bold sans-serif, white with heavy stroke, CENTRED
upper third. Pineapple yellow #D98E04 on the final card. 250px clear at
bottom, 120px at top.
AUDIO: Original sound. Footsteps and room tone only until the final beat, then
one soft string chord. The audio must also loop cleanly.
DO NOT: No smoking, no product, no packaging, no paraphernalia. No medical
claims. No data on camera. No real brand names.
**Cantina Prompt**
```text theme={null}
Professor High — SEVEN-SECOND CARDS — SEV-005
Runtime: 10 seconds | 9:16 vertical
- Any supporting role may be recast freely between packs, never inside one — a
  recast mid-pack turns a format test into a casting test. Briefs and swap
  rules: /social/cast

TONE: Deadpan meme format. This is the ONE episode in the pack that carries a
number, as a deliberate test. Everything else about the format is unchanged.

IMPORTANT — BURNED-IN TEXT IS REQUIRED on every beat.

IMPORTANT — OPENING: Card one on screen from frame one. No voice, no music for
the first eight seconds.

IMPORTANT — Both character shots use IDENTICAL framing. Between them his
posture deflates very slightly — that is the only change, and it should be
subtle enough to reward a rewatch.

ENVIRONMENT: A stylized living room, plain couch, blank wall. No brands or
logos. He holds NOTHING — his hand is raised as if displaying something, but
it is empty. NO product, packaging or paraphernalia visible anywhere.

SHOTS + DIALOGUE:
1. (0:00-0:04) Locked wide. THE MAXIMIZER triumphant, one empty hand raised as
   if showing something off. NO DIALOGUE.
   ON SCREEN: HIM: "THIS ONE'S LIKE 32%"
2. (0:04-0:08) IDENTICAL framing. His posture has deflated very slightly. NO
   DIALOGUE.
   ON SCREEN: THE AVERAGE STRAIN: 20.5%
3. (0:08-0:10) Cut to Professor High, static chest-up, deadpan. Voice only.
   SAYS (PROF): "This is why I'm high."
   ON SCREEN: THIS IS WHY I'M HIGH

ON-SCREEN TEXT STYLE: Large bold sans-serif, white with heavy stroke, CENTRED
upper third. Pineapple yellow #D98E04 on "20.5%". 250px clear at bottom, 120px
at top.

AUDIO: Original sound. Silence and faint room tone for 0:00-0:08, one soft
string chord on the final beat.

DO NOT: No smoking, no product, no packaging, no paraphernalia. No medical
claims. No real brand, dispensary or producer names.

## Pack Notes

| Rep       | Cards | Runtime | Variable being probed                                         |
| --------- | ----- | ------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `SEV-001` | 2     | 8s      | Baseline — cheap relational meme vs full animation            |
| `SEV-002` | 2     | 7s      | Direct replication of the 11% share-rate specimen             |
| `SEV-003` | 3     | 12s     | Three cards vs two                                            |
| `SEV-004` | 2     | 6s      | Seamless loop — shortest in the library                       |
| `SEV-005` | 2     | 10s     | One number on camera — does a fact convert shares into saves? |

<Note>
  **This pack is the cost control on the whole slate.** Five videos here cost less to produce than one Comedy Engine episode. If share rate holds anywhere near the 11% specimen, the correct response is not to make these better — it is to make **many more of them**, and to fund the expensive packs out of the reach they generate.
