# TIWIH Receipts — Scripts

> Five production-ready episodes decoding dispensary receipts into terpene forecasts. Script IDs TR-001 through TR-005.

<Note>
  Show concept: [TIWIH Receipts](/social/shows/tiwih-receipts). Character and shot rules: [Production Spec](/social/scripts/production-spec). Numbers: [Verified Data Sheet](/social/scripts/verified-data).
</Note>

<Note>
  **Two education-grammar rules apply to every episode in this pack**, from the [teardowns](/social/teardowns#cannabis-education--and-a-warning):

  1. **State the conclusion first.** The creator who opened with the answer beat a PhD on the identical topic — **16.9% vs 9.2% like rate**. Do not build to the finding; lead with it and spend the rest earning it.
  2. **Put the citation on screen.** Both top cannabis educators show the actual paper — it converts an assertion into evidence in one frame. Any beat making a research claim carries a small persistent lower-third card: `Author et al., Journal Year`. See [Citation cards](/social/scripts/production-spec#citation-cards--education-only).
</Note>

<Note>
  **Every episode ends on the catchphrase.** *"This is why I'm high."* The line is the domain, so the sign-off does the funnel work with no "link in bio." Delivered flat and sincere, never explained, never in the first three seconds. See [The Funnel](/social/funnel#the-sign-off).
</Note>

Professor High — TIWIH RECEIPTS — TR-005
Runtime: 30 seconds | 9:16 vertical
CHARACTERS
- professor-high-v1 — LOCKED. Already loaded with his image, voice and
  personality. Do NOT re-describe him — re-describing a saved character is the
  main cause of drift.
- No supporting cast — Professor High alone.
- Any supporting role may be recast freely between packs, never inside one — a
  recast mid-pack turns a format test into a casting test. Briefs and swap
  rules: /social/cast
TONE: Precise and matter-of-fact. A researcher walking through a result. Sincere
throughout, never winking at the camera or acknowledging that the premise is
funny.

ENVIRONMENT: Working research lab. Dark pine-green backdrop, out-of-focus shelving,
glassware and papers behind him. The submitted receipt photo is pinned in
frame with all personal details redacted.

SHOTS + DIALOGUE:
1. (0:00-0:03) deadpan, direct to lens + static chest-up + big number card
   SAYS: "Fewer than one in two hundred strains actually hits thirty percent THC."
   ON SCREEN: FEWER THAN 1 IN 200
2. (0:03-0:10) skeptical, one brow raised + slow push-in + receipt with figure circled
   SAYS: "This receipt says thirty-one percent. So either you found one of the
   eleven, or somebody rounded."
   ON SCREEN: THIS SAYS 31%
3. (0:10-0:20) neutral, gesturing + whip cut to + two-lab comparison graphic
   SAYS: "Lab-to-lab variance on the same flower can move a result by several
   points. There is a commercial reason every number lands just above the
   threshold that sells."
   ON SCREEN: SAME FLOWER. DIFFERENT LAB.
4. (0:20-0:27) neutral, settling + static chest-up + average marker on distribution
   SAYS: "The average strain is twenty and a half percent. That is what good
   actually looks like. Chasing the top number is how you overpay for a
   rounding error."
   ON SCREEN: AVERAGE = 20.5%
5. (0:27-0:30) neutral, DECODED stamp + static chest-up + closing card
   SAYS: "What is the highest number you have seen on a menu? Comments."
   ON SCREEN: HIGHEST YOU'VE SEEN?

ON-SCREEN TEXT STYLE: Bold sans-serif, white with heavy stroke, max 6 words
per line, lower third. Key terms in pineapple yellow #D98E04. Word-synced.
Keep 250px clear at the bottom and 120px at the top.

AUDIO: Lo-fi lab bed, low under voice. Rubber-stamp thud on the DECODED stamp. Voice normalized loudest.

DO NOT: No smoking, no lit product, no cannabis paraphernalia in frame. No
medical claims. No real dispensary, producer, or lab names. No logos.

## Production Batch Notes

* Shoot `TR-001` first. It is the baseline every other episode in the pack is measured against.
* `TR-001`, `TR-002`, and `TR-004` are all 45 seconds by design — that holds runtime constant so register and framing are the only variables moving.
* `TR-003` and `TR-005` deliberately break the runtime to test the bands. Do not compare them against the 45s episodes directly.
* Every episode needs a real submitted receipt. Until submissions arrive, recreate a receipt graphic rather than faking a photograph of one — a recreated graphic is honest set dressing, a fake photo is a fabricated document.
