Overview

You can permanently delete your High IQ account at any time. Account deletion removes all of your personal data from our systems, including your stash, orders, reports, favorites, consumption sessions, and profile information. This action is irreversible.

Before You Delete

Before proceeding with account deletion, consider these important points:
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

What Will Be Deleted

The following data will be permanently removed:
  • Your profile information (name, email, avatar)
  • All stash items and inventory data
  • Complete order and purchase history
  • All consumption session logs
  • AI-generated reports and insights
  • Saved favorites and bookmarks
  • Dispensary preferences
  • Badge progress and achievements
  • Stats and analytics history
If you just want to take a break, you can simply sign out without deleting your account. Your data will be preserved and available when you sign back in.

How to Delete Your Account

Open Profile Settings

From the Dashboard, tap your avatar or profile icon in the top-right corner to open your Profile screen. You can also reach this from More > Profile.

Scroll to Danger Zone

Scroll down to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the Profile screen.

Tap Delete Account

Tap the Delete Account button. This is displayed in red to indicate it is a destructive action.

Confirm Deletion

A confirmation dialog appears warning that this action cannot be undone and that all your data will be permanently removed. Tap Delete Account to proceed, or Cancel to go back.

What Happens After Deletion

Once you confirm deletion, your account is deleted immediately. You are signed out of the app and can no longer access your account. All associated user data is removed from our systems.

What Is NOT Deleted

Some data is retained in anonymized form even after account deletion:
  • Aggregated analytics — Anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked to your identity
  • Crash reports — Error data associated with device/session IDs, not your personal account (retained for 90 days)
This anonymized data is used solely for improving the app and cannot be used to identify you.

After Deletion

Can I Create a New Account?

Yes. After deletion, you can create a new account at any time by downloading High IQ and signing in with Apple or Google. The new account will start fresh with no data from the previous account.

Can My Data Be Recovered?

No. Account deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no way to recover your data, even if you contact support.

What If I Used Apple’s Private Relay?

If you used Sign in with Apple with a hidden email, the private relay address associated with your account is also removed. Apple may retain the relay mapping on their end per their own policies.

Troubleshooting

Account deletion is immediate and permanent. Once confirmed, there is no way to recover your data. Contact support if you need assistance, but recovery is not guaranteed.
Make sure you are running the latest version of High IQ. The delete account feature requires version 1.0 or later. Update the app through the App Store.
