Overview

High IQ is organized around a tab-based navigation system. Each tab gives you access to a core area of the app, from managing your cannabis inventory to discovering new strains and reviewing your consumption analytics. This page walks through every section so you know where to find what you need.

Main Tabs

The bottom navigation bar contains five primary tabs that you can switch between at any time: Home, Stash, Reports, Stats, and More.

Home / Dashboard

Home

Your personalized home screen showing a snapshot of your cannabis activity.
The Dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in. It provides a curated overview of:
  • Recent stash activity — Items you have recently added, consumed, or rated
  • Quick actions — Add a new strain, scan a label, or start a session
  • Personalized recommendations — Strains suggested based on your preferences and history
  • Trending strains — What is popular across the platform right now
  • Strain Discovery — Browse curated lists, High Families, and the full strain database (accessible from Home)

Stash Management

Stash

Your personal cannabis inventory tracker and consumption log.
The Stash tab is where you manage everything you own, have ordered, or plan to purchase:
  • Current Stash — Active inventory with strain details, quantities, and purchase info
  • Order History — Past purchases imported from receipts or added manually
  • Favorites — Strains you have bookmarked for quick access
  • Session Logging — Record consumption sessions with strain, method, dosage, and effects
  • Collection — Your complete strain collection with rankings and comparisons
Long-press any item in your stash to quickly rate it, add notes, or mark it as consumed.

Reports

Reports

AI-generated reports that analyze your data with real-time streaming insights.
The Reports tab provides AI-powered analysis of your cannabis data:
  • Consumption Reports — Patterns in what, when, and how you consume
  • Spending Reports — Where your money goes and how to optimize
  • Strain Reports — Deep analysis of specific strains in your collection
Reports are generated in real time using server-sent event (SSE) streaming, so you see each section appear as it is written.

Stats

Stats

Analytics and insights about your cannabis consumption patterns.
The Stats tab provides detailed analytics across multiple dimensions:

The More tab gives you access to features beyond the main four tabs:
  • Dispensaries — Save and manage your cannabis dispensaries, track visits, and import orders
  • Label Scanner — AI-powered label analysis that extracts strain data from dispensary packaging
  • Professor High (Deep Research) — Your AI cannabis guide for deep research questions
  • Suggest a Strain — Submit strain suggestions to the database
  • Consumption Preferences — Manage your consumption method and dosage preferences
  • Profile — Edit your display name, avatar, and account settings
  • Settings — App preferences and configuration

Additional Sections

Profile

Access your profile from the More tab or from the top of the Dashboard. Here you can:
  • Edit your display name and avatar
  • View your account details and connected accounts
  • Manage security settings
  • Sign out or delete your account
Beyond the tab bar, High IQ uses several navigation patterns throughout the app:
  • Pull to refresh — Works on most list screens to fetch the latest data
  • Search bar — Available at the top of the Stash tab and Strain Discovery screen
  • Back button — Tap the top-left arrow to return to the previous screen
  • Sheet modals — Actions like adding a strain or logging a session slide up from the bottom
  • Swipe gestures — Swipe left on stash items for quick actions (delete, edit, consume)
The app remembers your position in each tab. Switching between tabs and back won’t lose your scroll position or active filters.
