Overview

Stash Management is the core tracking feature of High IQ. It lets you maintain a live inventory of your cannabis products, log consumption sessions, track quantities, and review your complete activity history. Think of it as a personal cannabis library where every strain, purchase, and session is recorded. Your stash data syncs in real-time across all your devices via Convex, so changes made on one device appear instantly on another.

Key Features

Live Inventory

Track active strains with quantities in grams, eighths, quarters, halves, ounces, milligrams, or milliliters. See your total at a glance.

Multiple Product Types

Support for flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, vapes, and tinctures — each with appropriate unit tracking.

Consumption Logging

Log sessions with how much you used, automatically updating your remaining quantity. Mark items empty when finished.

Activity Timeline

A complete audit trail of every action: stash additions, consumption events, orders uploaded, favorites toggled, and collection changes.

Sorting & Filtering

Sort your stash by date added, alphabetical, strain type, dominant terpene, High Family (time of day), or amount remaining.

Bulk Operations

Multi-select mode lets you mark multiple items as empty at once for fast cleanup.

The Stash Screen

The Stash tab is one screen with one job: show what you own right now. From top to bottom it is the Stash Hero Card, a row of three quick actions, your sort and layout controls, and then your strain cards. Each strain card shows:
  • Strain name and type (sativa, hybrid, indica)
  • Remaining quantity with unit
  • Product type badge (flower, edible, etc.)
  • Dispensary where purchased (if tracked)
  • Strain image from the database (when matched)

Quick Actions

Under the hero card, three tiles carry your all-time counts and open the screens that answer the questions the Stash tab itself does not:

History Screen

History used to be a tab inside the Stash screen. It is now its own full-screen view, opened from the History quick action, with room for the Quick Stats header, search, and all seven event filters.
The History screen opens on a chronological timeline of all stash-related events, grouped by date, with:
  • Quick Stats — all-time unique strains, orders, and favorites
  • Search — searches the full archive server-side, not just loaded pages
  • Filter tabs — All, Orders, Stash, Favorites, Dislikes, Collection, Rankings
Event types include:

Adding Strains from Multiple Sources

Strains can enter your stash from several places:
Bulk import is a planned feature and not yet available in the current app version.

Stash Hero Card

At the top of the Stash screen, the Stash Hero Card gives you a live read on your stash health. Nothing is hidden behind a disclosure — the whole card reads in one pass:

Composition Lenses

The composition bar answers “what kind of stash is this?” three different ways. Tap Type, Time, or Form to switch which breakdown the bar shows; each one carries a leaning caption and raw counts.
The Form lens is the one grams alone can’t tell you. 20g of flower and 20g of carts are very different stashes, and this is where that shows up.

Sorting Options

Use the sort chips above your strain list to organize by: Each sort that supports it can be toggled between ascending and descending order.

Card Variants

You can change how your stash items are displayed by tapping the card variant selector:

Restock Predictions

If you set your consumption preferences (accessible from the Stash screen), High IQ can predict when you will run out of each strain based on your typical usage rate. Low-stock warnings appear as alert banners.
Set your Consumption Preferences to enable accurate restock predictions. Go to the You tab > Consumption Preferences to configure your typical daily frequency and average session amount per consumption method.
Use bulk mark-empty to clean up multiple finished strains at once. Enter edit mode by tapping the edit button in the header, select the items, then tap “Mark Empty.”
