High IQ’s Strain Discovery feature gives you access to one of the most comprehensive cannabis strain databases available, with over 16,000 strains and growing. You can search by name, filter by effects, terpenes, strain type, and THC/CBD range, explore curated highlight collections, and discover strains through the science-based High Families classification system. The experience is split across two screens: a Discovery landing page for exploration, and a Browse Strains screen for detailed search and filtering.Key Features

Enter a Search Query
Type a strain name or partial name in the search bar. Results appear as you type with a brief debounce for performance.

Use Recent Searches
Previously searched terms appear below the search bar for one-tap access. Clear individual searches or all at once.

Browse Results
Matching strains appear in a scrollable list or grid. Each result shows the strain name, type badge, THC/CBD range, top effects, and dominant terpene.

Tap for Details
Tap any strain to open its full profile with complete terpene data, effects, grow information, similar strains, and options to add it to your stash or collection.
Filtering
Open the filters panel to narrow results using multiple criteria:
Filters combine with AND logic by default. An active filters bar at the top of results shows which filters are applied, with one-tap removal.
You can toggle between AND and OR logic for effect and terpene filters using the Logic Toggle control. AND returns strains matching all selected criteria; OR returns strains matching any.
Sorting
Sort results by:- Relevance — Best match for your search query (default when searching)
- Name — Alphabetical A-Z or Z-A
- THC — Highest or lowest THC percentage
- Popularity — Most searched and viewed strains first
- Rating — Community ratings

Tapping any strain opens its comprehensive profile page with:- Cannabinoid breakdown (THC, CBD, CBG, etc.)
- Full terpene profile with percentages
- High Family classification with confidence score

- YouTube videos about the strain (fetched on demand)
