Overview

Your High IQ profile controls how you appear in the app and what preferences are applied to your experience. You can update your display name, avatar, and various app settings at any time. Profile changes take effect immediately and sync across devices.

Accessing Your Profile

Open Profile Settings

From the Dashboard, tap your avatar or profile icon in the top-right corner. This opens your profile screen.

Tap Edit Profile

On the profile screen, tap Edit Profile to access editable fields.

Profile Settings

Display Name

Your display name is shown throughout the app — on your Dashboard, in reports, and on your profile screen.
  • Tap the name field to edit
  • Enter your preferred display name
  • Tap Save to confirm
Your display name is private to your account. It is not visible to other users or shared publicly.

Avatar

Your profile photo is imported from your Apple or Google account when you first sign in. You can change it at any time.

Tap Your Avatar

On the Edit Profile screen, tap the circular avatar image.

Choose a Source

Select from:
  • Camera — Take a new photo
  • Photo Library — Choose an existing image from your device

Crop and Confirm

Adjust the crop area if needed, then tap Done. Your new avatar uploads and appears immediately.

App Preferences

The following preferences can be configured from your profile or settings screen:

Account Information

Your profile screen also displays read-only account information:
  • Email address — The email associated with your Apple or Google account (or Apple’s private relay address if you chose to hide your email)
  • Sign-in method — Apple or Google
  • Account created — When you first signed up
  • App version — Current installed version of High IQ

Changing Your Sign-In Method

Your sign-in method (Apple or Google) is set when you create your account and cannot be changed directly. If you need to switch:
  1. Export your data from your current account
  2. Delete your current account
  3. Create a new account with the desired sign-in method
  4. Re-import your data
Changing sign-in methods requires creating a new account. Contact support if you need help migrating data between accounts.

Tips

Keep your display name simple and recognizable. It appears at the top of your Dashboard and in generated reports, so choose something you are comfortable seeing regularly.
If you are using Sign in with Apple with a hidden email, your real email address is never stored by High IQ. The private relay address is used for all account communications.
