Overview

Not everyone wants to sit down and read through five tabs of analysis. Sometimes you just want the highlights — a quick, visual walkthrough of what you bought, what the science says, and how to make the most of it. That’s what Notebook Stories are for. They take the same deep analysis from your notebook and present it as a full-screen, swipeable experience — like Instagram or Snapchat Stories, but for your cannabis purchases. Each story follows a 6-act narrative that walks you through your purchase from “here’s what you got” to “here’s how to use it” to “here’s what to watch out for.” Stories exist because the data in a notebook is genuinely interesting — but tabs and tables aren’t always the best way to experience it. A story makes the same information feel personal, visual, and easy to browse through in 60 seconds.

The 6-Act Narrative

Each notebook story is organized into six acts, guiding you through a complete narrative:
ActNameWhat It Covers
1OpeningTitle card, dispensary info, and overview stats
2The HaulIndividual strain highlights with hero cards and intel
3The ScienceTerpene breakdowns, synergy analysis, and patterns
4Your PlanConsumption schedule, activities, and rotation suggestions
5InsightsComparative analysis, effects profile, cost optimization, and forecasts
6Wrap UpSafety notes and sharing options

Page Types

Stories are assembled from nearly 20 page types, each designed for a specific type of content. Pages appear only when the matching data exists — a richer notebook (more strains, more order history) produces a longer story:
  • Title Card — AI headline, animated strain count, and purchase details
  • Dispensary Hero — Your dispensary with visit count, total spent there, and a street-level photo backdrop when available
  • Overview Stats — Key metrics (strains, grams, spend) with a sativa/indica/hybrid composition bar
Every strain in the notebook gets its own pair of pages:
  • Strain Hero — Full-bleed strain image with type badge, product info, THC/CBD stats, and top effect pills
  • Strain Intel — Deep intel: AI headline, effects, aroma and flavor, dosing guidance, and activity pairings — with Professor High commentary
  • Terpene Breakdown — Animated bar chart of your combined terpene profile, led by your dominant terpene
  • Daytime Synergy — How your terpenes work together during the day
  • Nighttime Synergy — How they shift for evening sessions
  • Terpene Pattern — A callout about the pattern in your terpene picks
  • Plan Schedule — Session-by-session timing blocks with strain recommendations
  • Activity Pairings — Each strain matched with suggested activities
  • Weekly Rotation — A 7-day rotation calendar (with a rest day) and why rotating helps manage tolerance
These pages unlock as your order history grows:
  • Order Comparison — This order vs. your previous one, with new and repeat strains
  • Your Profile — Type preferences, terpene affinities, and your THC sweet spot
  • Supply Forecast — Estimated run-out date, daily average, and low-stock warnings
  • Cost Analysis — Cost per gram vs. your lifetime average, plus potential savings
  • Seasonal Trends — A 12-month view of your purchasing patterns
  • Safety Notes — Side effects and contraindications to be aware of
• Share Outro — A celebratory closing page (confetti included) with sharing options
1

Open a Story

Open a notebook and tap the Stories card in the media strip below the hero. Daily Stories open the same viewer — tap the featured card or any day circle at the top of the Notebooks tab.
2

Navigate Between Pages

  • Tap the right side (70% of screen) to go to the next page
  • Tap the left side (30% of screen) to go to the previous page
  • Swipe left/right to jump between stories when more than one is queued (for example, browsing your week of Daily Stories)
3

Track Your Progress

Progress bars at the top of the screen show how far through each chapter you are. Each bar segment represents one page in the current act.
4

Exit the Story

Swipe down (vertical dismiss) to close the story, or tap the close button in the header.
Stories are a great way to quickly review a notebook’s highlights without reading through every detail. Use the detail view when you want to dig deeper into specific sections.
Each strain gets its own pages in the story. If your notebook includes 5 strains, you’ll get 5 strain hero pages plus individual intel pages — making it easy to compare at a glance.
