Show concept: TIWIH Receipts. Character and shot rules: Production Spec. Numbers: Verified Data Sheet.
Two education-grammar rules apply to every episode in this pack, from the teardowns:
  1. State the conclusion first. The creator who opened with the answer beat a PhD on the identical topic — 16.9% vs 9.2% like rate. Do not build to the finding; lead with it and spend the rest earning it.
  2. Put the citation on screen. Both top cannabis educators show the actual paper — it converts an assertion into evidence in one frame. Any beat making a research claim carries a small persistent lower-third card: Author et al., Journal Year. See Citation cards.
Every episode ends on the catchphrase. “This is why I’m high.” The line is the domain, so the sign-off does the funnel work with no “link in bio.” Delivered flat and sincere, never explained, never in the first three seconds. See The Funnel.

Pack Summary

Recurring assets: receipt photo with redactions, DECODED stamp, terpene bar chart, closing submission card. Standing rule: every receipt is redacted before it appears — no name, no address, no card digits, no medical ID. Submitter handle only with permission.

TR-001 — Sour Diesel, Decoded

Hooks Script Caption
Sour Diesel is limonene-dominant, not myrcene-dominant. The “diesel” name has been selling people a sedative that isn’t one for about twenty years. Drop your receipt and I’ll decode yours. This is why I’m high → thisiswhyimhigh.com

TR-002 — The $60 Eighth

Hooks Script Caption
Wedding Cake is caryophyllene-dominant — same as roughly 15% of all cannabis. You are allowed to like it. You are not required to pay $60 for it. Receipt in the comments and I’ll find you the cheaper match. This is why I’m high → thisiswhyimhigh.com

TR-003 — Four Strains, One Problem

Hooks Script Caption
Four strains, three of them myrcene-dominant. That’s not a bad dispensary — that’s the entire market. Myrcene dominates 45.8% of all cannabis. One question fixes it: “what’s the dominant terpene?” Save this for the counter. This is why I’m high → thisiswhyimhigh.com

TR-004 — The Beginner’s Receipt

Hooks Script Caption
First-time receipt and honestly a good one. Blue Dream is the most popular strain there is, myrcene-dominant, 20.5% THC — dead average, which is exactly right for day one. Two puffs, wait twenty minutes, then decide. This is why I’m high → thisiswhyimhigh.com

TR-005 — The 31% THC Receipt

Hooks Script Caption
Fewer than 1 in 200 strains reaches 30% THC. If your dispensary menu is full of 31s, the menu is the problem. What’s the highest number you’ve seen on a label? This is why I’m high → thisiswhyimhigh.com

Production Batch Notes

  • Shoot TR-001 first. It is the baseline every other episode in the pack is measured against.
  • TR-001, TR-002, and TR-004 are all 45 seconds by design — that holds runtime constant so register and framing are the only variables moving.
  • TR-003 and TR-005 deliberately break the runtime to test the bands. Do not compare them against the 45s episodes directly.
  • Every episode needs a real submitted receipt. Until submissions arrive, recreate a receipt graphic rather than faking a photograph of one — a recreated graphic is honest set dressing, a fake photo is a fabricated document.
